Heat & Mass Transfer
Recovering waste heat to preheat feedstock. Connecting heat transfer fundamentals to a useful process improvement.
Thermodynamics I & II
Energy and entropy balances, with vapor–liquid flash separation of hydrocarbons.
Material & Energy Balances
Block-flow diagrams and steady-state mass balances, including recycle and purge streams.
Fluid Mechanics
Friction factors and pressure drops: understanding what it takes to move a fluid through a system.
02 / THE EXPERIMENTS
PERSONAL PROJECTSCuriosity, turned into something I can use.
FEATURED PROJECT / 01
A personal worklog I built to track completed work, plan what comes next, and understand where my time goes. Quick Log timers, reusable templates, and weekly views turn daily entries into a clear record of progress.
A personal AI assistant and Obsidian knowledge vault, running on Claude Desktop. A Dantean guide through my notes — built to help me navigate what I know.
My online brain.
I wanted to create a personal portfolio that felt uniquely mine. After my professor, Dr. Steelman, suggested getting my own domain, I purchased antonioiglio.com and hosted the site on Railway. I experimented with several approaches to bring the background to life, eventually creating an animation with 5,100 moving particles. Building this website has given me a place to share my projects in greater detail while learning new skills in web design and development.

This project started with an idea: turn photos of myself on one of Seceda’s twin spires into a full 3D model and a drone-style video. Every time a new AI model comes out, I try using it to generate a 3D model of the twin spires. I recently experimented with LiDAR mapping of the region to create a more detailed model. My goal is to learn how to create large 3D models of complex objects and terrain.

03 / THE CHARACTER
Before process diagrams and Python,
there was a Scout promise.
2011 — 2024 / TEXAS
Boy Scouts of America
Coppell & Carrollton, TX
The beginning of my Scouting chapter.
A foundation in integrity, safety, and leading a team through the hard part.
The rank that stays with me long after the uniform.
For my Eagle Scout service project, I led the renovation of a Gaga ball pit, coordinating the planning, materials, volunteers, and hands-on work needed to return it to safe use. Leadership was a constant throughout my Scouting career: I served in roles ranging from Patrol Leader to Senior Patrol Leader, ultimately guiding the entire troop and learning how to organize people, communicate clearly, and lead by example.

04 / STILL BECOMING
I’m a junior chemical engineering student at the University of Arkansas, with a Business minor and a habit of chasing how theory behaves in a real plant.
Outside class, I build AI tools for fun, from a guide through my own notes to systems that explore how rules and judgment fit together. Scouting gave me the foundation: integrity, safety, and the responsibility to help a team through the hard part.
